My Credentials
Training & Experience
I hold Diplomas in both Person-Centred Counselling and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, which complement each other well as effective approaches. I also hold a Masters in Applied Psychology and have lectured for a few years in Counselling and Psychology at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. This gives me a good, in-depth knowledge of mental health and wellbeing. As well as counselling, I have been supporting people as a workplace Coach for 20 years.
Safety Checks & Ethical Practice
I have been assessed and approved for practice by the University of Aberdeen and COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) and am registered with the Professional Standards Authority. I have passed a PVG legal safety check, am fully insured and receive regular clinical supervision of my practice. I agree at all times to abide by the COSCA Code of Ethics.
